Physical Preparation

Being prepared physically will make you feel as confident as possible! If you would like your roots touched up or your nails done, make sure you schedule this appointments accordingly. If you would like a tan, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SELF-TAN! For a tan please visit a professional spray tan artist for a beautiful glow! In the weeks coming up your session, moisturize often and drink lots of water (your skin will thank you!) It is recommended that stretch prior to your session or attend a beginners-yoga class, cramps happen... let's do what we can to avoid them! Unless you point your toes, arch your back, and pose on the daily you might get sore so do what you can to prevent that!

Outfits

Have all of your outfits planned! Lingerie should be tight to your skin so it does not move around when you are posing. If you would like contrast your outfit with your skin tone (black, white, and red are popular colors!) If you are looking for something more modest and casual, grab a Calvin Klein set or wear jeans and a bra! Once your outfits are decided upon, take a moment to cut out the tags. Tags on lingerie are typically sewn in and will be seen through mesh/lace, cutting them out will enhance your photos even more! On the day of your session, were loose fitting clothing the day of and to your session. Jeans, leggings, tight bras, etc. can leave indentions and lines that can be difficult to edit out! Baggy shirts and sweatpants are your BFF the day of your session!

Hair & Makeup

I will say it again just for fun... if you would like a tan PLEASE DO NOT USE SELF-TAN! Go see your favorite spray tan artist and get your glow by a professional! If you are doing your own makeup or getting services by an MUA, make sure your makeup is blended down your neck! Clothes will not be covering your neck/chest during this session, so we do not want a harsh makeup line. For your hair, leaving it down is best (up-do's don't give us a ton of freedom!) Feel free to bring a claw clip or pony tail to put it up half-way through your session for a more casual vibe!
